Despite creators hoping for a fifth season, HBO considers Westworld finished after fourth season
While the finale of Westworld Season 4 is ambiguous enough to be an ending, creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan expressed their desire for a fifth season of to bring to fruition the conclusion they have in mind for the series; however in a shocking turn of events, HBO revealed their decision to cancel the show earlier today.
