Avatar Studios Releases New Posters of the Gaang

Avatar Studios is currently working on multiple projects set in the Four Nations that are still years away, but while fans wait for the projects to finish, Nickelodeon released some new artwork to keep the excitement for the franchise buring.

Avatar Studios dropped images of Aang in the Avatar state, Prince Zuko, Iroh, and Mai all surronded by the four elements or fire. New artwork, alongside many others, is available for purchase at the Avatar Studios' official Displate shop along.

The first feature film produced by Avatar Studios, headed by creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will see the return of the Gaang - it is still uncertain if the original cast will return and the details surrounding the plot of the film is unknown - which is expected to release October 10, 2025. Additionally, Avatar Studios is working on a feature film centered on Korra, though the project does not have a release date and is anticipated to release in 2026. Writer Tim Hedrick hinted the role of the comics and novels in the Avatar franchise will play a significant role in the animated projects moving forward in an episode of the Avatar: Braving the Elements podcast where he stated, "If you haven't read the comics, and are excited for the new stuff, read the comics because it's only going to enrich your experience going forward... you are going to know more about what's up."
